These songs have come to me through my journey, as I walk with Jesus. He talks to me through my songs.
HOLY SPIRIT – holds a special place in my heart, it came to me in a unusual and wonderful way. I call it Gods hymn because of this.
WE PRAISE YOU EVERYDAY & DREAMS THAT I DREAM – all three of these songs (including Holy Spirit) were born whilst I was on holiday in France.
YOU GAVE TO ME – a feeling of Easter and prayerful moments.
FEELINGS – this song was dedicated to my youngest son when he was having difficulties with friends at school, I wanted to show him he was not alone.
YOU GAVE ME EYES – an awareness of our beings.
BROKENNESS – this song came from a poem I produced whilst on my Cursillo weekend, I began to realise how precious each one of us are and how we can learn to be more compassionate towards others.
DOES JESUS CARE? – I wrote this song after feeling so strongly about a book I had read, and these words kept on coming up.
HOLY THREE – having great difficulty in walking, could only manage to walk down my road, also I went on a Pray with clay workshop and modelled this figure partly with my eyes closed in prayer.
This model was God (the Holy Trinity) with open arms (wings, Father.) around the body of Jesus, (Son) and a large heart (Holy Spirit).
CURSILLO EXPERIENCE – My Cursillo weekend I felt I wanted to express this and share this invite to get to know God our Father.
COME ON BE STRONG – When ever I feel I am weak, I cannot cope with things I come back to this song time and time again. When I only see one set of footprints, I am reminded God is with us at all times.
JESUS CHRIST YOU ARE WALKING WITH ME – (a child’s song of Love to God) Each song has a story to tell.
WHERE AM I LORD – (a music piece) a feeling of not going forward.
LORD I FEEL SO DISTANT – everything for me was going wrong, a plea for release.
I THANK YOU LORD – a prayer song, I wrote this when I started to doubt my gifts, a need to hold on and stand firm.
COME, COME – I was, I believe asking God for confidence to be able to speak out boldly, to listen more to Him, to be able to understand (LOOK, LISTEN, SEE & REJOICE).
IN THE SILENCE OF MY PRAYERS LORD – a prayer of thanks.
LORD IN HEAVEN – again I was house bound, I needed strength to cope again.
RIVER RIVER – I felt the peace and went with the flow to explore this Love for all of us.
FATHER IN HEAVEN – this song came to me at Christmas time, a way of saying thank you for Jesus.
BRING OUT THE FRUITS LORD – this song is a prayer to God, asking how to share our gifts and seeing how it is important to share. And realising how we can help others in their journey in this life to cope with…………whatever it may be.
